Joey and Michael | July 18, 2015 | Wheeler Arts Center | Indianapolis, Indiana
You all must remember Joey & Michael from their engagement session earlier this year. It seems like everyone loves these two because their engagement session was featured on Gay Wedding's and For Real! :) The love is well deserved because these two are amazing and super cute!
Joey and Michael got married last weekend at the Wheeler Arts Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Wheeler Arts Center is an old factory that was converted into apartments, an art gallery, as well as an event venue. It was a very neat place with tons of artwork. Wheeler Arts Center fit Joey and Michael's wedding to the T! They had a unique wedding and the venue was perfect!
How was their wedding unique you may ask? They walked each other down the aisle. They had a "donut cake" with a custom cake topper that included the "diamond ring" Joey proposed to Michael with. Their flower girl (who had an amazing dress with a long train) tossed bouncy balls and passed out lollipops instead of throwing flowers. They had pizza from a local shop. All of the food at their wedding was vegan. They wanted their wedding to have a small environmental footprint so a lot of the decor was made by themselves or from Etsy and a lot of their decor was items they would be able to use again. AND they had light up clouds as their backdrop!!!!!! That is only some of the uniqueness of their wedding, but you get the idea. :)
Anyway.... enough of my ramblings! Enjoy some of my favorite's from their day! :)
