Samantha & Joel | Kossuth Street Baptist Church | Lafayette, Indiana | October 10, 2015
You may remember Samantha & Joel from their engagement session just a few weeks ago. These two planned a wedding in just a few short months.
Samantha and Joel met at the Kossuth Street Baptist Church where they both work and worship. Their friends tried to set them up, but they ended up connecting without their help (although their help didn't hurt!). On their first date they talked about their life goals and made sure their values alligned. On the fourth date, Samantha knew that Joel was the one. She even had a strong feeling for the date Oct. 10th and even called up her girlfriends and told them to set aside that date, just in case.
Joel started feeling the same way about Samantha and knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and a few months later he proposed at the Celery Bogs in West Lafayette. Samantha and Joel would have eloped right then and there, but they wanted to hold a wedding to thank all of their friends and family for the love and support.
Remember that Samantha had that strong connection to Oct. 10th? Well after they got engaged, Samantha asked Joel what date he thought they should get married. She had not told him about October 10th. Joel thought about it and weighted the options and came back and asked her how Oct. 10th sounded!!!!! How crazy is that? Fate was on their side.
Samantha and Joel wanted their wedding to celebrate their love, God, and their friends and family. It certainly lived up to their wishes.
