Oh my goodness, guys! If you had any doubt about rain on your wedding day then you have to see Caroline & Jacob's wedding because even though it rained, it was perfection!

You may remember Caroline and Jacob from their adorable Tippecanoe Battlefield engagement session last year. Caroline and Jacob first met back in 2008 at a high school football game. They started dating the next year after they attended their Winter Formal Dance. They have been together ever since. Jacob proposed in 2015 in Venice when they were both on a vacation getaway. While they were on the waterfront watching the sunset on their last day in Venice, Jacob read her a letter that he had written back in 2011 and then asked her to marry him! Talk about a picture perfect proposal!

Caroline and Jacob held their ceremony and reception at Plum Creek Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana. I absolutely love Plum Creek! They have a beautiful space with so many photo opportunities and their wedding coordinator, Babette, is amazing! They had originally planned to have an outdoor ceremony under the gazebo and then have their reception inside, however, mother nature had a different plan and decided to give us rain throughout the day. Caroline and Jacob waited as long as they could before making the decision to do the ceremony inside as well and it was beautiful! They really had a perfect wedding day! Mother nature did give us a little break during Caroline and Jacob's couple portraits so we were able to get some portraits around Plum Creek.

Their wedding was filled with navy, blush, and gold accents with lots of candles. Their friends and family made the wedding complete. There were lots of special touches throughout their wedding. They wrote their own vows, had a knot tying ceremony, their closest family and friends gave speeches, the Bride's cousin made the wedding cake, Jacob and his father made the beer served at the reception, and Jacob's fraternity brother's serenaded Caroline along with Jacob. The reception ended with the song "Sweet Caroline" and Caroline and Jacob got to dance the night away with their family and friends in a circle surrounding them on the dance floor.
