Your wedding timeline is extremely important on your wedding day. It will make sure you stay on time and have enough time allotted for your portraits. I know sometimes putting together a wedding timeline can be pretty time consuming and scary so I have included the following sample timeline to hopefully help you a bit. This timeline is based off of a 2:00 p.m. ceremony but you can adjust it for your ceremony time!
Here's a breakdown of the minimum amount of time I need for the portrait part of your day:
1 hour | Bridal Details/Prep
1 hour | First Look/Couple Portraits
45 minutes | Wedding Party Portraits
30 minutes | Family Portraits
10:45-11:15 a.m. | Bridal Details
11:15-11:45 a.m. | Bridal Prep
12:00 p.m. | First Look
12:15-12:45 p.m. | Portraits
12:50-1:20 p.m. | Wedding Party Portraits
1:30-2:00 p.m. | Bride and Groom Into Hiding
1:30-1:50 p.m. | Reception Details
2:00-2:30 p.m. | Ceremony
2:40-3:10 p.m. | Family Portraits
3:30 p.m. | Bride & Groom Entrance Into Reception
3:30-4:30 p.m. | Dinner
4:00 p.m. | Toasts
4:30 p.m. | Cake Cutting
5:00 p.m. | First Dance, Father/Daughter Dance, Mother/Son Dance
6:00 p.m. | Bouquet/Garter Toss
7:00 p.m. | Bride & Groom Exit
