Feast your eyes on Jessica and Kyle's gorgeous wedding from Saturday! You may remember Jessica and Kyle from their engagement session (view it here) back in 2015. These two are seriously the cutest.
Jessica and Kyle first met back in 2011 at Purdue University where they were both Freshmen. They were introduced through mutual friends and hit it off. Fast forward to several years later and Kyle proposed at Purdue University on May 4, 2015. He choose a spot that they had walked to back when they were freshmen. Unfortunately, that spot was undergoing some construction but Kyle ended up making it work. Some of the landscaping workers even ended up taking some photos and sending them to Jessica and Kyle!
Since their engagement session Jessica started working with Aisle Ready Events as an associate wedding planner as well as started her own calligraphy business called Love Notes Calligraphy so you could say that she was pretty ready for her wedding! Side note: if you need any sort of calligraphy items for your wedding, check her out! Pretty much all of the signs, invitations, wording, etc that you see in this blog are by her!
The vision for their wedding was a fusion of inspiration from Kate Spade and Southern Weddings Magazine. Lush florals, coral, navy, gold, sequins, and watercolor adorned their space. Mustard Seed Gardens was the perfect venue for them! The outdoor space is gorgeous and the barn was the perfect touch of rustic for them. Another side note: if you're looking for a barn venue, be sure to check them out. The barn is gorgeous and is climate controlled, the outdoor space is to die for, there are actual restrooms, and the Metsker House is the perfect getting ready location. (side, side note: The Metsker House was deeded to George Metsker back in the 1800's by Andrew Jackson, the 7th President of the United States, how neat!)
There are tons of unique aspects to Jessica and Kyle's wedding. All the gorgeous signs/calligraphy, they wrote their entire ceremony, and their wedding favors were donuts from Jack's Donuts (they used to go there for Saturday morning dates, and still do!). Plus during the father/daughter dance, they had some special choreography and song changes! All of the little special details are what made their wedding so great.
I could ramble on and on, so let me just show you!
Jessica & Kyle: I hope you are both having a blast in Saint Lucia!!!!! You both as so sweet and really make a perfect couple! I know you will have a long and happy life ahead of you!
