Just wait until you feast your eyes on Rachel & Corey's wedding! You may remember Rachel and Corey from their downtown Zionsville, Indiana engagement session last October. (You can view that HERE.) These two have been together for about 6 years now. Corey was friends with Rachel's brother, Michael. Corey and Michael played soccer together while they were both in college. One fall break, Michael gave Corey a ride home to Indianapolis and that is when he met Rachel. She fell head over heels for him! They stayed in touch over the next year and then the following December, Corey asked her to be his girlfriend.
Corey proposed at Rachel's parents gazebo. He lit tea lights around the gazebo, strung up Christmas lights, and put down some rose petals. After Rachel said yes, her whole family came out to surprise her. So sweet!
Rachel and Corey tied the knot on Saturday and their day was truly spectacular! They held their ceremony at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Indianapolis. S. Monica's holds a special place for Rachel and Corey. Rachel grew up at St. Monica's and when her and Corey settled back to Indy they made it their church. Sadly, the chapel caught fire in 2015 and they had to have mass in the school gym for over a year. Luckily, the chapel was rebuilt and finished two months before their wedding. That made it extra special for them.
Their reception was held at the gorgeous Union Station in downtown Indianapolis. This venue is truly stunning! This Union Station was actually the first Union Station in the United States! Thomas Edison worked there in 1861 and Abraham Lincoln travel through after being elected as President. It holds so much history and is beautiful. Rachel and Corey's reception was held in the Grand Hall and it was the concourse for the station back in the day! Everything was filled with lush blush details and candles.
I can go on and on about their wedding but why don't I just show you! :) Enjoy some of my favorite images from their big day below!
Rachel and Corey: You are both so sweet! Your wedding was truly spectacular and I know you will have a long happy life ahead of you two! I hope you are having a blast on your honeymoon!
