Meet the adorable Sharon and Kevin! These two have been together for almost 6 years now. They first met while they were both attending Purdue University. They were with mutual friends at The Black Sparrow in downtown Lafayette, Indiana and ended up talking and became fast friends. Pretty soon afterwards they realized that they should start dating and the rest is history! Kevin ended up proposing a year ago while they were in DC. Sharon, Kevin, and Sharon's mom went out for a run on a trail at sunset. Kevin set everything up so their friends would be at the end of the trail holding signs asking Sharon if she'd marry him. Once they got towards the end of the trail, Sharon saw the people and signs but they were too far away for her to make out what they said. She thought it was some sort or protest and kept insisting that they turn around but Kevin and her mom persuaded her to keep going. When they got closer she read the signs and realized what was happening! She of course said yes! The ring Kevin proposed with was her grandmother's ring.
Sharon and Kevin will be tying the knot in June in West Lafayette in the backyard of Kevin's parent's house. They are excited to share the joy with their friends and family and will focus on the greenery elements throughout their wedding.
We met up at the Davis Ferry Park in Lafayette for their engagement session. They loved the bridge and the trails that are there. We ended their session at Kevin's parent's house where their wedding will be held.
