Kylie and Carl are married!!!! You will remember these two from their adorable Chicago, Illinois engagement session. (You can view that HERE.) These two are the sweetest! Kylie and Carl first met at Purdue University a little over three years ago. Kylie's sorority organized a philanthropy baseball game that Carl's fraternity participated in. Carl was playing first base and while Kylie was watching she announced to her friends jokingly that he will be her future husband. Kylie was too scared to introduce herself after the game. A few weeks went by and while out with a sorority sister, Kylie talked about Carl again. This sorority sister had friends in Carl's fraternity so she thought it would be funny to send a mass email to the whole fraternity asking who the first baseman was and for him to text Kylie. Carl did a little Facebook stalking and then reached out to Kylie and they went to Harry's Chocolate Shop for their first official meeting. They hit it off and have been together ever since!
In May 2018 Carl asked Kylie for her hand in marriage. They were dating long distance with Kylie in Washington D.C. and Carl in Chicago. Carl few out to Washington for a visit. One night he told Kylie to go get ready because he was going to take her somewhere. Once she was ready to go, he mentioned that he filmed a funny video of his dog. Kylie started watching the video and Carl's dog runs up to the screen with a sign around his neck that said "Will you marry my daddy?". Kyle then got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. She obviously said yes! They then went out to a fancy wine bar to celebrate and to tell their friends and family the good news!
Kylie and Carl tied the knot on Saturday at the Mavris Arts and Events Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. They had their ceremony in the courtyard, their cocktail hour on the patio and third floor, and their reception on the second floor. Kylie and Carl both loved that they could have everything in one location and loved the rustic and industrial feel of the Mavris so it was the perfect location for them. They filled their wedding with rose gold, navy, and champagne accents and it was just gorgeous. Some special touches they added to their wedding was having Kylie's best friend from high school officiate them, they poured rye whiskey into a bourbon barrel to age during their ceremony, friends from all over the country flew in the celebrate their love, and so many other amazing details.
Enough of my ramblings, view some of my favorite images from their big day below!
