Kate and Adam are married! YAY! You may remember these two from their engagement session at the Indianapolis Canal. (You can view that HERE.) Kate and Adam have been together since 2016 and first met when Kate moved into a duplex where Adam was her next-door neighbor. They hit it off pretty much right away and have been together ever since. Adam proposed to Kate over a year ago in his Indianapolis apartment. Kate was living in Cincinnati for school and was in Indianapolis visiting Adam. Kate went to drop her suitcase off in the bedroom and when she came back to the living room, Adam was waiting for her on one knee and the rest is history!
Their wedding on Saturday was just perfect! They held their ceremony at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Newburgh, Indiana and their reception was at the Evansville Country Club in Evansville, Indiana. Evansville is Kate's hometown so it made the perfect location for their wedding. Kate and Adam packed their wedding with a lot of family traditions. They included a German drinking song, an 1800's Loving Cup ceremony, and a Slovak tradition of the oldest unmarried brother of the groom dancing on the table. They had a live band and Adam even got up and played the guitar for a Jimmy Hendrix song! It was a wedding that was filled with love, laughter, and lots of fun!
Enjoy a few of my favorite images from their wedding below!
