Lianne and Ryan are married! YAY! You may remember these two from their Crown Point, Indiana engagement session the other year. (You can view that HERE.) These two both attended Indiana University but didn't meet until the fall of 2019 after they matched on Bumble. They hit it off and had a lot in common and the rest is history! Fast forward a bit and they were on their way to a holiday party in New Jersey and Ryan surprised Lianne by stopping by their favorite pub in Queens. Ryan had planned to propose inside the pub but they were running late to the party so he had to chase Lianne down the street and propose in the rain. It ended up being perfect because where they ended up stopping was right by the street that Lianne lived on for 10 years! To add to the excitement, five days after their engagement they found out they were expecting their first child!
Lianne and Ryan are a couple who really enjoy travel. They both travel for pleasure and for work and their families and friends are spread out all over. For their wedding, they didn't mind having a destination wedding. Instead of choosing a location first, they looked for gorgeous non-traditional wedding venues to see what they loved. They found the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts and fell in love with the look and feel of the venue and as a plus, it was in a location close to Lianne's childhood home. They started out their wedding weekend on Friday with a sunset cruise for all of their guests onboard the Hannah Glover. The cruise went along the Salem Sound and passed by five lighthouses. It was the perfect activity for all of their guests to really get to see Salem and start the celebration. While it did rain a bit for the first hour of the cruise, the rain lifted and we had the most gorgeous sunset! Saturday was their wedding and it was just perfect! They filled their wedding with blue and white colors and let the beauty of the Peabody Essex Museum shine through! They added so many personal details to their big day, like having their son be the ring bearer, showcasing music that they both love (string quartet, opera singers, country duo), and really just having their wedding be a big party where all of their friends and family could have fun and celebrate their love! It was the perfect wedding!
Enjoy a few of my favorite images from their wedding weekend below!
