Angel and Kendall are married! YAY! You may remember these two from their engagement session at Holliday Park (you can view that HERE). These two first met online during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. After chatting online for a bit, they had their first meeting at Broken Egg Cafe and the rest is history. Fast forward a bit and Kendall proposed to Angel while they were having dinner at their favorite restaurant, Provision. Angel obviously said yes!
These two held their ceremony at St. Lukes United Methodist Church. They loved the location of the church and it was an extra special location for them because Kendall's mother created some of the stained glass windows in the church. Their reception was held at Meridian Hills Country Club and they loved the elegant look of the venue and that it was close to both the ceremony location and their home. They started their wedding with a dedication to both of their mothers. They really wanted to honor and incorporate their mothers into their wedding and this special dedication was the perfect way to do this. They prayed by one of the stained glass windows that Kendall's mother made and then they released butterflies in honor of Angel's mother. They incorporated a lot of special details into their wedding ceremony- Kendall's father was their officiant, Angel's son escorted her down the aisle, and their cousin Mike sang a solo. During the reception Angel had a special surprise for Kendall. Since Kendall's dad was a preacher, she changed into a gorgeous purple dress and played "Son of a Preacher Man" and did a little dance with her girls for him. It was perfect! They filled their reception with lavender and blue details and really wanted to incorporate in fun elements and turn the reception into a big dance party. They loved getting to celebrate with their family and friends!
Enjoy a few of my favorite images from their big day below!
