St Mary Cathedral and Bennett's Greenhouse Wedding Lafayette Indiana: Jessica & Nick

Jessica and Nick are married! YAY! You may remember these two from their Chicago, Illinois engagement session. (You can view that HERE.) These two first met back in 2019 while they were taking a bridge inspection class for work. Engineers from across the country attended and when Nick arrived only two seats were left and he choose the one next to Jessica. They started chatting and realized they both ran and became running buddies as soon as the class ended. They hit it off and have been together ever since! Fast forward to 2023 and Nick asked Jessica for her hand in marriage while they were on a run. He led them to Wrigley Field on the run, Nick is a Cubs season ticket holder and Jessica attends about 30 games a year so it's become a big part of their lives. Nick and his family also have an engraved brick at the field. When they got to the brick, Nick got on one knee and asked her to become an official part of his family. Jessica obviously said yes!

Their wedding on Saturday was just perfect! They held their ceremony at St Mary Cathedral in Lafayette Indiana. Jessica's parents got married at St Mary Cathedral 40 years ago so they knew it would be the perfect location for their nuptials. Their reception was held at Bennett's Greenhouse where Jessica and her family spent a lot of time at throughout her childhood. They both loved the feel and look of Bennett's and knew it would be perfect for their wedding. They filled their wedding with lots of florals and greenery and blue, gold, and blush details. They choose their colors to combine both Nick and Jessica's alma maters- blue for Nick and gold for Jessica. They really personalized their wedding with lots of personal and family details and it was just perfect!
