Lauren and Kyle are married! YAY! You may remember these two from their Purdue University engagement session. (You can view that HERE.) These two first met online over 4 years ago while they were both attending Purdue University. They had their first date at Noodles and Co. on campus and they both left left that date knowing that they just met their best friend. They have been together ever since. Kyle proposed to Lauren in November 2019 while they were in town with their friends for a Purdue football game. They had both been talking about getting engaged but Kyle threw Lauren off his tracks when he told her that although he would love to propose the weekend of the game, that it just wasn't able to happen financially. The day of the game came and Lauren was running a bit late. She was worried that Kyle's friends would be upset since they weren't at the bars to meet them yet. Even though they were late, Kyle insisted that they walk through campus and the engineering fountain since they had not been on campus for awhile. Lauren kept trying to get them to go meet his friends since she didn't want to upset them but she finally agreed to the walk. Kyle took her around the Purdue Bell Tower and when she turned around, he was on one knee. She immediately started crying and said yes! Right as she did, their friends ran out of a nearby building to celebrate with them. They had all been in on it all along!

Lauren and Kyle tied the knot at St. Mary's in downtown Lafayette, Indiana. They had a traditional wedding and Lauren's sister and Kyle's sister sang a song during the ceremony. This church is also special to them because this is where Lauren's parents got married! They held their reception at the Lafayette Country Club in Lafayette, Indiana. They loved the look of the venue, the amount of space they had, and that it is also where Lauren's parents had their wedding reception! Their wedding was filled with burgundy, blush, and gold accents and lots of roses and greenery.

Since Lauren and Kyle met at Purdue, got engaged at Purdue, and had their engagement session at Purdue; it only made sense for us to take some of their couple and wedding party portraits on campus. It was the perfect day and they were surrounded by all of their family and friends which made the day even more special.
